Juntas Explorer is a recognized and insured travel agency.
The following special and general terms and conditions apply to all trips organized by Juntas Explorer. By using the services of Juntas Explorer, you expressly agree to these terms and conditions.
General Travel Conditions
Travel Disputes Committee – Package Travel Agreements
Article 1: Scope of Application
These general terms and conditions apply to package travel agreements booked from July 1, 2018, and are regulated by the Law on the Sale of Package Travel, Linked Travel Arrangements, and Travel Services of November 21, 2017.
Article 2: Information of the Organizer and Reseller
2.1 Mandatory prior information:
- Travel characteristics:
- a) Destination(s), route, dates, and number of nights
- b) Transportation: characteristics, schedules, and connections
- c) Accommodation: location, category, and characteristics
- d) Included meals
- e) Included excursions or services
- f) Whether the service is in a group
- g) Language of the services
- h) Accessibility for reduced mobility
- Total package price and possible additional costs
- Payment methods
- Minimum number of persons required
- Passport, visa, and health requirements
- Traveler cancellation rights
- Insurance information
2.2 The professional guarantees the correct standard form.
2.3 The pre-contractual information forms part of the contract.
Article 3: Traveler Information
- The traveler must provide correct and relevant information.
- Costs resulting from errors will be assumed by the traveler.
Article 4: Package Travel Contract
- Confirmation of the contract in durable format (email, PDF, paper)
- Includes all information from Article 2
- Also includes:
- Traveler requests
- Organizer responsibility
- Insurer details
- Local contact
- Complaint procedure
- Contact for minors
- Dispute resolution
- Transfer rights
Before the trip, the following will be delivered:
- Receipts
- Vouchers and tickets
- Schedules and check-in information
Article 5: Price
- Prices may vary due to fuel, taxes, or exchange rates.
- Reduction applies if costs decrease.
- Cancellation without charge if the increase exceeds 8%.
- Minimum notification of 20 days.
Article 6: Payment
- Advance payment upon contracting.
- Remaining balance due up to 3 months before the trip.
- Non-compliance → cancellation of the contract.
Article 7: Transfer
- Transferable up to 7 days before departure.
- Costs assumed by the traveler.
- Joint payment responsibility.
Article 8: Traveler Changes
Changes may generate additional costs.
Article 9: Organizer Changes
- Only minor changes without issues.
- Major changes → option to cancel.
- Possibility of an alternative package.
Article 10: Cancellation by the Organizer
- Due to minimum number of participants not reached.
- Due to extraordinary circumstances.
- Full refund without compensation.
Article 11: Cancellation by the Traveler
- The traveler may cancel at any time.
- Penalties may apply.
- Refund within 14 days.
Article 12: Non-Conformity
- Must be reported immediately.
- Right to solution, compensation, or reduction.
- Possibility to terminate the contract.
Article 13: Traveler Responsibility
The traveler is responsible for damages caused.
Article 14: Organizer Responsibility
The organizer is responsible for all included services.
Article 15: Compensation
- Price reduction if failures occur.
- Compensation if applicable.
Article 16: Assistance
- Assistance in emergencies.
- Charges may apply if caused by the traveler.
Articles 17–19: Complaints, Conciliation, and Arbitration
- Complaints must be submitted in a timely manner.
- An amicable solution will be sought first.
- Possible arbitration or court proceedings.
Special Travel Conditions – Juntas Explorer
- 40% advance payment of the trip.
- Full payment 90 days before departure.
- Cancellations with progressive penalties.
- Adventure and nature travel (risks assumed).
- Program changes without prior notice.
- No refunds for unused services.
- No responsibility for force majeure.
- Obligation to have documents and insurance.
- Schedules are approximate.
- Strict complaint procedure.
